Peter Drucker is one of the leading strategic business thinkers of our generation. Not surprisingly, he’s a big supporter of innovation. In this post in his How to Save the World Weblog, Dave Pollard provides a valuable synopsis of the innovation process that Drucker espouses, complete with a helpful flowchart of the four phases of this process, and typical steps within each phase. He also brings it to life with a specific example of a bank, seeking to increase revenues from existing services.
This is a great summary, and is must-reading for anyone who isn’t familiar with Peter Drucker’s work. Great job, Dave!
