I just discovered The European Collaborative for Communities of Practice (ECCOP) Weblog, which is dedicated to enhancing value creation (i.e., innovation) by communities of practice. In other words, collaborative learning groups that enhance innovation in business and social life.
The most recent posts to this blog showcase its collaborative nature: they are a compilation of e-mail responses to questions that blog editor Erik van Bekkum recently posed to the ECCOP community of practice.
A separate topical archive on Innovating with Communities of Practice contains insights on how “CoPs” enable innovation, while filtering out some of the more social aspects of group collaboration. Interesting stuff!
