There’s been a lot of work going on behind the scenes here at InnovationTools.com, and it’s time to give you a hint at the changes that will be coming soon.
First, my developer recently finished converting this blog from a single-author tool into a team blog. In last week’s InnovationWeek e-newsletter, I asked for people who write well and have a passion for innovation and a unique viewpoint about it to contact me about becoming a guest writer for this new team blog. Over 30 of you responded – wow!
During the next few days, I will be sending out instructions to at least half of those who contacted me, and will expand the stable of writers further once I’m sure we have a workflow that’s performing smoothly.
The other big change is a complete design update of InnovationTools.com. This site is now seven years old, and it’s long overdue for a freshening up. In the process, the developer will fix some of the aspects of the site that have never been all that they should be – such as adding a full site search and improving the stability of the RSS feed, which has sometimes been problematic.
I also plan to add several new tools and content areas to this website. I’ll wait until the project is farther along to tell you about those exciting details. It’s time to take this site to the next level!
