We are calling it IM Inside – Innovation Management Inside the Enterprise.

Innovation management has been providing online resource for innovation managers for more than two years now – this month we take our biggest step forward since we launched. Welcome to The Hard Copy, a new magazine for the Innovation Management profession.

The US market is increasingly important to Innovation Management and innovation practitioners as policy makers and business leaders prioritise innovation here as they have done elsewhere around the world. As of this month Melba Kurman joins IM to help us grow and respond to the needs of this remarkable innovation country.

After a tumultuous year, executives are now rather hopeful about their nations’ economies and their companies’ prospects, according to a McKinsey global survey done during December 2009. The results show that just over half of executives continue to say that economic conditions are now better than they were in September 2008, and a majority expects customer demand for their companies’ products or services to rise in the near term.
